What browser is need for SC, to get the most functions to work as intended
What browser is needed for SC, to get the normal upload (not the oldschool), and the audio replace to work?
Right now I use Firefox 3.5.2, and it does work in most cases. The only thing that has been making trouble since the day SC was official, is the upload/replace rutines. The upload progress bar sort of have a mind of its own :-) I've never figured out, why it rushes up to about 70-90% just after selecting the song for upload? And it just keeps standing there at the same value?
Since the upload stuff never really has been fixed for me, I thought that I might need to use another browser, or?

Inappropriate?hi Steen,
I'm not sure, that the browser change would help in your case. You see, the current Firefox version is our most tested development browser, and we're pretty sure that the uploads works in it. In your case, it could be other factors preventing the site from working correctly. E.g. faulty Flash Player installation, broken Flash settings (http://www.macromedia.com/support/doc...), local or remote proxy, your connection timing out, or some Firefox extension. For example one of our colleagues had huge problems using the site in Firefox just because he had Adblock installed in his browser. After he replaced it with Adblock Plus everything suddenly worked.
You could try to disable ALL of the extensions in Firefox and if it works better then, try to re-enable them one by one, so finding the offender.

Inappropriate?Thanks matas,
Nice to know, that you in fact say that Firefox is the most test browser for FF.
I know my connection is stable upload/download, but I don't know about the the Flash installation, timing out, and FF extension thing. The only thing I use in FF is English, Danish dictionary + a Java quick starter 1.0.
What Flash installation/version should I use, and is there any way I can check my current?

Inappropriate?Hey Steen, I have Flash 10 installed and it works smoothly. (I was the coworker Matas was referring to with the AdBlocker). I'm not sure where you can check the version you have but if you go to the Adobe site and look for Flash 10 it will install the most recent version.
Keep us posted about the progress, will you?
Thanks.

Inappropriate?AdBlocker and the Firefox build in popup-blocker, is this the same?
As I have the build in pop-up blocker enabled. Maybe this could cause the trouble? Anyway, its worth a try disabling it :-) -
Two different things. I have my popup-blocker activated all the time. -
Inappropriate?I can see in my XP remove/install window, that I have Adobe flash player 10 plugin + activeX thing installed, so I guess it should be alright
