upload problem
Upload track and you can't play it back properly. Sounds like digital distortion and very messed up. I keep uploading tracks with same result. Are you guys aware ?

Ah... I believe this is a similar problem we had a while ago. Recently we increased the quality of our encoding chain to use 48khz as a the baseline frequency. Recent uploads were not getting downsampled again to 44.1khz during the MP3 conversion.
Flash 9 plays 48khz MP3s with distortion.
We will reprocess all tracks for free, they are playing fine for people with Flash 10 installed and by the end of the day, they will be playing fine for people with Flash 9 installed too.

well, they need to go deduct all the tracks I've uploaded and give me a clean slate cos I'm using up my allotment here, besides let me have a clean good upload! -

Inappropriate?We have the same problem, just uploaded some new tracks on our label profile a couple of hours ago, and they sound very bad.

We've run through all our tracks and reprocessed the ones from the last 4 days. Can you press Shift+Reload on your browsers and checkout if you're still hearing the distortion?

Inappropriate?Actually, give it a bit more time. The caches between us and you are slowly being cleared. Until they are cleared, you will still get the same content.
Good news is that all the tracks on our side have been recoded, bad news is that we still have to wait a bit before you'll start getting the updated recoding.

Inappropriate?We have changed the Flash Player to version 10 and after that there was no problem. So we will try and run the tracks on a older Flash version to check if the problem is no longer :-)
