SoundCloud app for Android?

Please consider this idea soon, as Android is blowing up with 10+ new phones coming out, it's open source, and it has audio recording/processing/midi features that could easily rival the iPhone. A SoundCloud app would be the first of its kind on Android, and guaranteed to be a hit!

I just released version 0.1 of SoundCloud Droid. If you're in the mood for alpha testing, go to http://code.google.com/p/soundclouddr..., read the instructions, and give it a try.

This release is just to test some basic functionality (authorization, file upload, and retrieving your username). The UI is bad, the icon too, if you upload a big file it might lock up your phone, etc. etc.

All feedback is very welcome - links for feedback are in the app's menu.

I have just saw an application on Android Market for Soundcloud: Soundroid. It allows you to upload, edit, delete and listen tracks of you Soundcloud account.

Version 0.2 of SoundCloud Droid has just been released and is available from http://code.google.com/p/soundclouddr...

The UI has been improved slightly, and the uploading is now done by a service in a separate thread (which means that longer file uploads shouldn't freeze the device any more).

You can now edit the title of a file upload, and view the status of current and past uploads.
