Song length incorrect; file skips during playback.
Hi,
I have a problem with one of my tracks (http://soundcloud.com/capsika/silhoue...). The track is 4:54, however on soundcloud it claims to be 5:19. When I try and play the track, it skips like crazy, speeding up and slowing down, and when I try to track to another point in the song it doesn't play or other strange things happen. I've tried reuploading the file several times, even tried rebouncing out the song at a lower bitrate, deleting the original and creating a new song within soundcloud etc, and it still has the same error. The file works fine when playing it in any applications, it even uploads to myspace fine, so I doubt the original is corrupt. Any ideas?

Sorry you got bit by a little problem we have had for the last day where tracks have been encoded as 48khz instead of 44.1khz.
You most likely have Flash 9 installed, which does not support 48khz playback. We're reprocessing all tracks uploaded since the end of April as I type this, and your track will be updated shortly.
If you wish, to work around it for today, you can upgrade your flash version to 10.

It now says it's 4:53 which is correct, but it still has the same errors when playing, even after a hard refresh.

Inappropriate?Yup, I'm seeing that the 48khz is still being delivered.
To make the delivery as solid as possible, we're caching the streams in a couple places between us and you. On our side, it's updated to 44.1khz, and have requested that the caches between us an you be flushed. However they didn't flush as quickly as I expected, so have put in a request for our content delivery network partner to investigate why this track is still delivering the stale version.
