we've been discussing this internally and we have some serious improvements coming to the uploader infrastructure soon, so this one should hopefully be solved then. i should add though that we don't know exactly what's causing your problems.

Inappropriate?hey raytrace, this shouldn't be a problem at all. I just did a short test with a 24bit, 44kHz, stereo, wav and that worked for me. Also, the size of the track shouldn't be a problem. Let me check with Sean who's the expert on this and get back to you!

Inappropriate?hi again, we're having trouble re-creating the problem here. Can I ask, how long did you wait after the uploader reached 100%? We've done some minor tweaks that might help now though. So, could you try again with the same file and also, if it looks like it has stalled, give it some time and see if it manages to pull through. Sorry for the inconvenience but this would help us track down where the problem might be! Thanks!

Inappropriate?its just after happening again on a 100.2MB 24-bit 44000hz WAV
'Uploading. Roughly saving your upload...'
that bit was happening for 10 minutes
I left it at that it for 30 mintes yesterday before giving up
Ill try again now -
Inappropriate?unfortunately I uploaded the same file again and waited 1 hour and 10 minutes from when it got to 100% to see if the 'save track' button would become active - it didnt unofrtunately

Inappropriate?i have tried everything.. and i can't get any files to upload.
they start of as 24bit wavs, but i convert them to 16bit 44.1khz stereo interleaved mp3's using wavelab..
just tobe sure, I have downloaded tracks from the net (made by other people) and tried to upload thoise without success.
I even emailed soundcloud support an mp3, and they confirmed that it is fine as well.
the file uploads, the 'tab' in either firefox or internet explorer reads '100% uploaded', but it then freezes, and nothing happens - even if i leave the computer on (with nothing else attached to the internet) for 1 - 2 hours.
I don't get it and it frustrates the hell out of me.. I have a mac running 10.3.9 connected via cat10, and also a laptop running vista connected via wireless, neither of which work. I can get files up on myspace, virb and the like, and also onto my ftp server without any problems, and the soundcloud site otherwise works fine, but not soundcloud..i even looked into using the 'fireuploader' plugin for firefox, but its not configured for soundcloud..
I’m frustrated
