Invalid account number
I'm trying to upgrade my account to pro but I keep getting the error message "invalid account number" for the last 2 days. There is nothing wrong with my credit cards. I tryed 2 of them, and I used them afterwards with no problem. What the f... does that mean and

Inappropriate?It's Mutant disco. I just rembembered that I changed it from keke to Mutant disco recently so the problem might be connected to that.

Thanks, Leri. Weird, your account doesn't show any failed payment attempts so that can't be in our side. You can specify and maybe post a screenshot of the error message - that might help locate the issue.

Inappropriate?Any news on this. It's been almost a week now. The problem is not on my side. I tryed it on my friends pc and I also tryed her credit card too and I keep getting the same error message.

We're passing back what we're getting from our payment provider while trying to authorize your credit card.
We've just deployed a new version of SoundCloud that will collect a bit more information about these authorization errors.
We've had previous problems with our payment gateway using debit cards with the Visa/Mastercard logo.
Can you please try again one more time, let us know here and I'll look into our logs to see if there is anything more I can advise? Thanks. -

Inappropriate?Looking closer at the transaction - it seems our gateway is unable to process your card number.
We report to the gateway you are using a Mastercard starting with 53 and ending with 55. But our gateway does not identify your card as a Mastercard.
We've had problems with Mastercard in the past, but this is the first time we've seen this kind of error.
Just to confirm - do you have Javascript enabled, are clicking on the "Mastercard" button and entering the credit card number without spaces or dashes? -

I've also been trying to upgrade to a pro account. but it comes up with the message "invalid account number" I've tried from a mastercard and I sont wanna bother using a paypal account.

Joe, could it be that you used spaces after every 4th number on your credit card? Try entering it without the spaces.
