Can't upload a new track - browser crash
Hi Soundcloud team !
My problem is : I can't upload new tracks. As soon as I am choosing the track to be uploaded, the upload is almost instantaneous for the first 2/3, then it stops and makes Firefox crash. I tried with Internet Explorer, but I experienced the same problem. I have to terminate the program, then re-lauch it. I am experiencing this problem for the last couple of weeks.

Inappropriate?hmmmm... check my other posts. I'm using Mac OS 10.5.5 and have tried both firefox and safari (latest). my browsers don't crash, it's just that the upload stalls. I'm attempting to upload around 300-500 MB files (.wav). -

sorry to hear it, we'll be checking this out. We'll need to know your Flash Player version and how big is the file you're uploading. How long is the total upload time displayed above the progress bar?

Actually a short time after posting this issue, my upload finally worked. It's just the progress bar that is borked. It goes instantly to the 2/3 of the track, then stops there. But the upload is progressing though. I just had to wait for 5-10 minutes and that was it.
PS : I use the last Flash player version and the file was about 14Mo. No total upload time displayed above the progress bar.

I've got a similar problem, which I reported and have had no response.
Every time I try to upload, the track gets about half way through, then stops completely and eventually re-sets at the beginning again. It results in me using up most of my data allowance. I've tried with wav files and also mp3, but it's always the same. Can anyone shed some light on this? I'm keen to get it sorted. Have tried with a previous pc using firefox. Now I've got a new mac with OS x and Safari but the problem remains.
I've uploaded 1 track with absolutely no problem, but have not been able to upload anything since.

Finally the upload worked for me last time I used this function.
Everything Al Bondigas & I described is still there, but I just had to wait for 10 minutes (for a 14Mo file) then the file was finally uploaded. So there is no visual indication of the progression of the upload, but it seems it is working...
Al, you should try again with a very short mp3 file, and wait a decent amount of time even if the upload bar seems to be broken.
