are you sure that the SoundCloud plugin is correctly installed? It should be visible and activated in WP Admin -> Plugins.

It also could be that Godaddy is blocking Flash content (our player) when it is not whitelisted on their site. This is the same with Wordpress.com, where we had to wait a while till we got whitelisted.

i was able to reproduce most of the problems and the fixes are on their way to be deployed (probably tomorrow morning).

However I couldn't reproduce that the tracks were not added at all to the set.
Which browser are you using?
Can you add tracks to the set, when you are not doing any other changes at all to set?

don't worry, if you register an app to get the oauth tokens nothing will be published. so your app stays hidden.

OAuth is definitely the way to go, b/c only our sandbox-soundcloud.com supports basic authentication anyway.

Hi,

adding the dropbox to a page is a bit complicated, but here is a step-by-step guide:

Go to http://www.facebook.com/apps/applicat...

In the left menu click "Add to Page" (maybe you have to click "more" first).

Select one of your pages in the popup.

Go to your page.
Click "Edit Page" in the left menu.

Scroll down to the SoundCloud Dropbox and click on "Edit".

Setup your dropbox setting and click on the create widget button.

Now it should appear on your page's wall or boxes tab.
(you can switch it via the edit menu in the top right corner).

Hi,

seems like the tracks in the set are private tracks.
Setting them to public should solve the problem.
You can do this by editing the set and setting it to public.

does the facebook post look like the attached screenshot?
The "soundcloud.com" link should actually link to your track page, it just displays soundcloud.com.
Can you check that in your posts?

The problem is when posting something to facebook their bot tries to access the track/set page to get the metadata, artwork, etc. this fails often due to a timeout problem. if that happens it will only show a post, looking like the attached screenshot.

i've already contacted facebook to resolve this issue, but still waiting for
an answer.

If I get any news I'll post them here.

could you describe the problem a bit more specific?
Are you trying to connect your accounts via the Soundcloud settings page or just posting this set via the "share" button on the sets page?

Have you tried clicking a second time? Sometimes Facebook fails to open a connect dialog and then falls back on a window popup, when activated a second time.

Hi Giorgi,

when you use the fb app to search for something, it will send out 2 seperate requests. One for tracks and one for sets.
Just checked on my fb account and it seems like the set search request takes much longer (10s instead of 2s), but the set results should show up at the end of the result list after around 10s.

Please try again and wait a bit longer.

We plan to improve the search performance and accuracy in the next months.

For me updating the description+title directly on the track page works, without loosing the artwork.

Please describe what exactly are you trying to do and at what point it exactly fails, so maybe i can reproduce it then.

and at the moment it's only possible to post to this user profile.

posting to a facebook fan page is on our wishlist and we hope that we can implement this in the next weeks.
