The upload and old-skool upload buttons are not working...

The upload button and also the old skool uploader are not working. I am a new user, and have refreshed and re-visited the upload page several times and it's still not working. Are you able to fix this for me? im on a mac using safari - is it to do with the type of browser im using? thanks
